Troy A. Paredes served as a U.S. Commissioner of the Securities and Exchange Commission from 2008-2013. He is the founder of Paredes Strategies LLC and the co-host of the “Appetite for Disruption: The Business and Regulation of Fintech” podcast. From 2014-2016 he was the Distinguished Policy Fellow and Lecturer at Penn Law. Previously, he was a professor of law at Washington University in St. Louis.
