Annice Brave

Annice M. Brave, 2011 Illinois Teacher of the Year, has taught English and journalism at Alton High School in Illinois, for 27 years. She currently serves on the Illinois State Educator Preparation and Licensure Board and the Board of Directors of the Illinois Education Association.
